One only has to enjoy a bout of rooftop dining in Sukhumvit to understand the appeal. Good food, good drinks, and a bird’s eye view of the bustling city and its lights shining against the night sky; there’s simply few things that can match the experience.

There’s a lot of options for enjoying some drinks and food on the roofs of Sukhumvit, and here’s a few of them.

Above Eleven

Located on the 32nd and the 33rd floor of Fraser Suites at the end of Soi 11, Above 11 has garnered a reputation for fine rooftop dining in Sukhumvit thanks to its distinctive Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian) cuisine and Asian infused cocktails.  A two-floor venue sporting purple decals and a modern aesthetic, it has a wide open bar sitting at the first floor, with group seating at the second floor. Happy hour is between 6 to 8 pm daily, but you better book fast, as Above 11 tends to be quite full.

Vanilla Sky Bar

Take note that this place does not have a fixed ‘happy hour’, with any promos posted on the bar’s social media pages.

Of course, fancy food usually requires fancy attire, and the guests don’t disappoint. Happy hour is between 5 to 7pm daily and features a buy 1 get 1 free on selected drinks.

If you’re just in the mood for good beer, then this bar, located on the 30th floor of the Radisson Blu Hotel. The name is very apt, as the bar offers a selection of over 100 craft beers and ciders, with 12 that’s delivered straight from the tap, cooled via a state-of-the-art cooling system. The main bar shows off the variety of the drinks and projects vibrancy and mellowness at the same time, making this place perfect for getting together with friends and having some beer. There’s no set happy hour, however, but Brewski does offer different promos for its guests which change daily.
